What is TER?
The Total Expense Ratio (TER) is the annual cost of running a mutual fund scheme, expressed as a percentage of the scheme's average daily net assets. It includes the fund management fee, distributor commissions, registrar fees, audit charges and other operational expenses. TER is deducted daily from the scheme's NAV before it is published.
